Position: Sales Engineer

Currently seeking a full time Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of machinery and experience or working knowledge of the plastics industry.

The R.T. Kuntz Company provides custom engineered material handling systems and components specific to the plastics industry. Since 1980 we have specialized in Pneumatic Conveying Systems, Vacuum Loading Equipment, Material Storage, Blending and Metering, and Reclaim Systems.

Position Description:

• Sales, engineering and customer service
• Answer phones, handle customer inquiries, process orders and resolve customer issues promptly
• Process parts orders, handle claims, returned goods and manage customer accounts
• Place outbound calls to new and existing accounts identifying opportunities, decision marker(s) and related customer service needs
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with all levels of staff
• Team player must be able to manage multiple tasks
• Ideal candidate shall be ambitious and career minded

Position Requirements:

• Understanding of machinery and/or mechanical aptitude is highly desireable
• Ability to work in a dynamic, flexible environment where priorities are continually changing
• Excellent communications skills
• Detail oriented and strong personal accountability
• Knowledge of WIndows-based software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
